My older sister and boyfriend came up this past weekend to visit SF, so we headed into the city for lunch. We met them at Ike's Place, known for their sandwiches.
This isn't even half of their menu. Their full menu can be found online and has everything to satisfy carnivores and vegans.
Every sandwich comes with a bag of chips and they have 3 different flavors to choose from.
This was my DB's sandwich. I don't remember what it was called since the guy working kinda made up a sandwich to accomodate my DB's meat loving taste buds. "Jerry" something? Nothing but 4 kinds of meat and cheese.
This was mine.. the nacho girl!
It had salmon, avocado, tomatoes, cheese, mushrooms, sauce, and lettuce.
If you ever make it there, you HAVE to get their dutch crunch bread. The. best. thing. on. earth. Ike's became extremely crowded after we were there for 15 minutes. The line wrapped around outside and people stacked like sardines inside. There's no place to eat inside the store, but we just grabbed a chair and devoured our sandwiches in the corner anyway.
After finishing the best sandwich I've ever had, we walked a couple stores down to Cafe Sophie for a drink.
I got the mocha, which even included mini marshmallows. This is my kind of drink. :)
All in all, everything was as delicious as ever. I love living just outside the city!
Oh, and I guess I could show you my outfit for the day.
Wearing: Forever 21 pants, Wilson's Leather jacket, Toms shoes, random shirt from Nordstrom, and Longchamp bag.
