OPI's "Rally Pretty Pink"
I'm about to start training next week and I'll be restricted to my nail polish colors, so I wanted to make good use of my collection until then. I had JUST bought this nail polish on my last trip back home and didn't get to use it until now. Consider me obsessed.
The tiny speckles of gold in the strong pink are eye catching in the sunlight. One coat is plenty, but you can double it up for a more powerful effect.

Red Hot Fire

We went to watch Paranormal Activity 3 in the city yesterday since my pal, Jimmy (credit to him for these pictures), came to visit for the weekend. He's my "scary movie partner" since there's not many people out there that love watching scary movies like us.
I don't think I've ever been in SF where the weather was so nice and warm! There was no bone chilling breeze, like there usually is. I was able to wear a shirt and not carry around a sweater. Amen for that!
Wearing: random asymmetrical shirt, Forever 21 corduroy pants, Chanel sunglasses, vintage Louis Vuitton bag, vintage belt, and Dr. Scholl's sandals.

Bastien's 1st Birthday
My DB and I went home this past weekend for his nephew's costume birthday party. Since it was pretty last minute that we decided to go, we didn't have time to get costumes. Luckily, everyone dressed up enough for the both of us!

Pretty sad for a last minute costume, right? Haha. Oh well. It was a blast being able to visit our families and see everyone. It was definitely a short visit; hopefully our next visit will be more than two days!
Wearing: random black shirt, Forever 21 skirt, Mickey Mouse ears from Disneyland, and Volcom sandals.

Wine Tasting at Benziger
Today, I went on a vineyard tour and wine tasting with a couple of Boalties at Benziger. The drive there was overcast, but by the time we arrived at the winery, the sun had found its way through the clouds.

We got to see the barrel craves, fermentation facility, and the crush pad.

After the wine tasting flight, we brought a bunch of goodies (bread, chips, cheese, crackers, fruit, cookies, etc.) and had a little picnic on the grounds. It was the epitome of a perfect day.
I may not drink or even like the taste of wine, but I really enjoyed the muscat canelli. Go figure that it's a semi-sweet wine, wonderfully paired with light desserts. To me, the best part about wine is learning all about where it came from and how it was produced!

Perfect Pleats
Just cause I'm not six feet tall doesn't mean that I can't wear a maxi skirt. It's hard to find one that I won't trip over with my 5'4" height, but this vintage one just about does the trick. The skirt is a great heavyweight piece for the upcoming cold weather.
As for the belt, how awesome is this little piece? I got it for 3 bucks in wonderful condition. Oh how I love shopping in Haight & Ashbury!
