What's in your bag?

I've always wanted to do a "What's in your bag?" post, and now I finally got around to it! After I finished taking the pictures, I realized I totally forgot my phone. Oh well.. just know that my phone's always with me as well! Here goes...

Now let's get a close up of the things, shall we? My new wallet that I'm obsessed with. Actually, I've been obsessed with the entire y-mail collection from Yves St. Laurent since day one. There is nothing that I dislike from that collection.

My zebra planner that I write everything in. Old fashioned pen and pencil.. that's how I keep track of things!

Clubmasters:

I hate carrying coins in my wallet since they're so dirty, so I have a separate coin purse that I keep all my change in. I got this from my little sister and think it's just the sweetest thing ever.

all my little extras.. tissue, tide to go pen, antibacterial, a pen, mints and floss (all for the DB-- they're stuff that he always asks for).

and a business card holder with my blog's business card because you never know who you're going to run into!

grandpa sweaters

This was an outfit from Vegas two weekends ago. It was freezing there, so I made sure to bring plenty of knitted items to keep me warm.

Confession: I used to work at American Eagle. Back in the day when everyone wore Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, and American Eagle, I stuck true to my favorite store and devoted a solid 5 months of my life working in retail there. I was even promoted to jewelry lead! After I quit, I didn't walk into an American Eagle for 4 years. Funny how that works out.

But every now and then, I muster the courage to run through an American Eagle store to see if there are any boxers on sale. I do admit that I love their Aerie sleepwear. This time when I ran through, I found a grandpa sweater that fit me perfectly! Since I was in a bit of a hurry to get out, I didn't pick it up, but my DB bought it for me the next day even though he said it looks like an old man sweater. Now that's true love, my friends! Haha.

I may or may not have gone on an American Apparel shopping spree recently, when they were giving 30% off your total purchase. I can't help it.. I love how their clothes fit!

Bridal Shoot

On the first day of 2011, my friend Drew and I headed out for a little photoshoot. My little sister did my hair and make up and then I headed off to Paramount Ranch. You couldn't tell in the photos because Drew's pretty amazing, but it was FREEZING! Not to mention that the floor was soft dirt and quite difficult to move around in high shoes with.

keeping it simple

You know those family portraits where everyone wears blue jeans and a white t-shirt? Yeah... well, we definitely weren't that kind of family. My family portraits consisted of velvet dresses in coordinating colors and cowboy boots. One year, I even wore my first grade wedding dress costume for the heck of it. But we can all pretend that I did the whole white shirts & blue jeans thing, right?
