Jewelry Organizing

I have tons and tons of jewelry. My jewelry collection used to be scattered all over the place and hanging on random hooks. It was a pain in the butt to get the necklace in the back when you had ten necklaces hanging on a single hook. All of them usually got tangled and necklaces went forgotten.... but not anymore! I'm living a better life now that I have this hanging organizer.

It hangs easily in my closet and takes up the same amount of space that a coat would. No big. One side is filled with gold jewelry, as seen above.

The other side is filled with silver. The rows are all zippered (so no dust and no bugs!) and the columns are sewn to create separate pockets.

Greatest. Buy. Ever. Only $14.99, too!

I have a little box that I use to take jewelry with me when I'm traveling. It's stylish, the perfect size, and very organized.

I have another box to hold my smaller jewelry-- like rings, pins, and earrings-- that just so happens to match my zebra themed room. It has a tray that pulls out to reveal even more storage underneath.

And of course, I use my jewelry tree stand for holding jewelry that I wear the most often since it's the easiest to access. You've seen it all in my bedroom post, but here it is again!

Now if only I can find something to do with my shoes besides storing them all underneath my bed...

Finally, my wish came true! Cold, rainy weather with plenty of thunder. I love hearing thunder and seeing a flash of light every now and then. This also means I'm allowed to pull out my cold clothes from hibernation! Favorite.

This vest was another one of the treasures that I found in my aunt's pile to toss out. It's quite heavy and can keep me warm without wearing a jacket. Plusss, it even has a thermal lining with a hoodie to keep me out of the rain!

I wish the weather would make up it's darn mind already and stick to fall weather! Just when we get a glimpse of coolness, it shoots back up to 100 degrees a week later. Worst ever.

So, instead of layering everything on, I'm taking it all off! Not really. Shorts and a flowy blouse were still too much for me to handle in this heat. Why can't girls walk around with their shirts off like guys do? Not fair.

Per usual, I'm still addicted to Jeffrey Campbell and am determined to own all of them. Watch out. I'm aspiring to be Pink Kitten (she's even added nearly 40 more pairs since this picture was taken). Yup, those are ALL JC's! Not to mention that shoe closet is to die for.

Wearing: Forever 21 blouse, AnnTaylor Loft shorts, Jeffrey Campbell 99 in black snake wedges.

Welcoming Bastien!!

Wore this outfit out in the light rain (hence the droplets on the buckle of the purse) for a quick lunch with the DB and then to the hospital to welcome my first unofficial nephew, Bastien!! He's just about the cutest thing since sliced bread. Little yawns and small sneezes just melt my heart. Not to mention the tiny toes and fingers!! ::dies::

My parents went to San Jose to help clean out my aunt's storage department and came home with old buckets of clothes and bags of hers to toss. I got to take this little gem while my mom took another vintage LV. This purse was hardly even used-- MINT condition and I just about fainted from love when I saw it.

My aunt bought the bag nearly ten years ago and never used it because she thought it was too professional looking. She felt that she had to wear a suit whenever she used the purse. Like they say-- one person's trash is another person's treasure! I'll be listing some of the other goods on ebay, where they will hopefully find a loving owner.

Wearing: Forever 21 blazer, American Apparel unisex tank, J brand jeans, vintage boots, and Louis Vuitton purse
