feeding my speedy addiction

I wore this outfit out for my birthday dinner with a couple of friends. I love how flowy and comfortable the outfit is.. Not to mention the shoes! I always thought I hated wedges, but ever since these babies, I want to fill my closet with them!

My DB got me this purse for my birthday, where I just about died and went to heaven. More about that story on my food blog HERE. I think my designer bag phase is blooming again for this year. I go through many phases of buying purses, selling purses, and buying them again. This one's a keeper for sure-- it's not going anywhere! Now I have to save for the matching wallet...

Ready for Combat

This outfit makes me look like I'm going to kick some serious arse. Maybe it's because I'm wearing guys' clothes... Maybe it's because I have rocks on my wrist... Maybe it's because I'm wearing army colors... Or a little combination of all of the above.

I'm wearing a guys' shirt because I love the way it fits. Boys' shirts are much more comfortable than girls' shirts. Probably about 1/4 of my closet comes from the boys' section in the store; it makes it a lot easier to share clothes with the DB (although he tends to steal more of my clothes than I of his.. what's wrong with this picture?).

Disclaimer: Although I hardly ever shop at A&F, I have to admit that their shorts fit me better than any other shorts in the market because of my non-existent butt and chicken legs. Thanks to my little sister who works there, she can just fill me in on what they have and I can sneak in and buy it without anyone seeing me. Haha.

I've been obsessed with this AA bodysuit lately. It's perfect for this million degree weather. It may be a bit scandalous, but the way I see it is that if you're wearing something over it, you can get by. The only thing that sucks about it is that it's a pain in the butt to go to the bathroom in! You literally have to take all your clothes off just to pee. TMI? Whoops. I don't know where to draw the the line anymore. I apologize.

I actually had a discussion about this at a restaurant's restroom with another girl that was wearing a romper. Why do they make such complicated clothes for girls? I guess it's all in the name of fashion.

These boots are Jeffrey Campbell's version of Alexander Wang's creeper boots. Both are to die for! I'm always lusting over Jeffrey Campbell's collection and am slowly expanding my closet with them.

wet hair & pale legs

I was in a rush to get to dinner after getting off work and hopping in the shower. I didn't have time to dry my hair, so please excuse the mess. Not to mention that I need to get some sun on these pale legs of mine. ::sigh:: My appendectomy & work schedule restricted my sun intake this summer. That's okay, Vegas round two next week!

Pockets Galore

I love pockets. Shorts with pockets, rompers with pockets, dresses with pockets, you name it-- I love pockets. When I was little, I would refuse to wear anything but cargo pants, so my mom had to buy me boys pants. Why? Because back then, they didn't make any cargo pants for girls. This outfit has two pockets in my dress and four on my jacket. Think that's enough?

Oh yeah, I got the cutest thing in the mail the other day from Anthropologie. Since it's my birthday at the end of this month, they sent me this:

These pictures are old ones that I found on my computer from my trip to Temecula with the DB right before we got dinner. Hence, the sunset streaking all of the pictures. Ohhhh well.

J Brand jeans are the best brand of skinny jeans for me. They actually fit my chicken legs and accomodate my non existent butt. I wear these jeans more than any other ones in my closet.. and I have a lot!
